How many times have you sent round a document to a dozen people inviting their comments and changes and wound up with a dozen different versions of the same document - and no idea which is the most recent and “correct”? If this is a problem you have encountered then you may benefit from a wiki.
If you have not heard of wikis, a useful definition can be found at - where else? - Wikipedia, the web’s largest encyclopaedia and the best known example of a wiki. It says that a wiki page is “a website that allows users to add content . . . but also allows anyone to edit the content”.
